Welcome….I took the move to create this blog as an avenue to share and collate my thoughts, ideas and stories. From my passion for cooking to my world of collecting, reclaiming and recycling furniture and all sorts of things saving them from landfill. Our love for nature and the environment, the enjoyment of gardening, travel, the arts and photography. It’s now 2025, and since I started this blog, things have changed. I am now living in Italy, having moved here in 2023. I will use this blog to share our new life in Italy, from restoring a villa and gardens to creative initiatives, and what I have learned along the way for anyone wanting to embark on a new life in Italy.
